Tonight was opening night for the
Minicups and the Fast Friday series.
Unfortunately it was not the kind of
night we were hoping for to start off
the season. After missing both practice
sessions because of a battery problem,
we went into the heat race not knowing
what to expect out of the car but
finished in third place after a 4 lap
battle with Kyle Kutchas #0 for the
lead. Next we went into the feature race
starting 3rd and after making a risky
dive to the inside and going 3 wide on
the first lap, we came out in the lead!
However, after leading 3 laps the #5 got
into the back of us sending us toward
the turn 2 wall. Although the car was
saved and kept off the wall drawing no
caution, we lost all momentum, finishing
the caution-free race a disappointing
eight place.

13, 2008
Our streak of bad luck continued for the
second straight night in a row in the
2008 season. After finishing 3rd in the
heat race, we once again earned the Pole
position in the feature, but failed to
capitalize on the opportune starting
position. As the green waved our #8 C.M.
Cleaning, Piping Systems Inc, IDAD,
Chevrolet took off leaving the pack 3
car lengths behind but after leading 8
laps of green flag racing the field
caught up picking us off one lap at a
time. We finished a disappointing 8th
place, but relieved that we missed all
of the wrecks that occurred. We are
currently working on the car to improve
its performance so that we can stay
competitive. Thanks to all of our fans
and supporters!

After finishing another 3rd place in the
heat race, we started dead last in our
feature race. However after a restart
and a couple of 3 wide door-to-door
battles we were once again disappointed
with our finishing position. Although we
finished 8th place in the feature, we
would like to thank past Track Champion
friend Tommy McVay for all of his time,
effort and help on Friday to try and get
our car at a competitive level.

Last year at this time (June 29, 2007)
was our first Super Minicup Feature Win.
After spending multiple hours on the car
during the week preparing for Friday's
race, we were confident that we would
have the luck to keep our June 27th
weekend winning streak a tradition but
once again, we left the track with a
disappointing 7th place finish in the
feature. However next race is not until
July 11th because of the July 4th
celebrations. This gives us and
excellent opportunity to completely go
through our car and turn our luck around
for the second half of our 2008 season.
We have high hopes for our upcoming
races. Again, we thank everybody who
comes to the track every Friday to
support us.
